Thought provoking, intriguing competition is pending next month, with a host of roads scene ‘Aliens’, allied to Manx GP winners, rising talents, improving event exponents all tackling the Metzeler, Entire Cover Insurance Super Twin races.
Class lap-record holder, Mountain Course supremo Michael Dunlop, starts again one of the foremost favourites for race spoils.
As during previous class triumphs in 2018, 2019, 2023 and last year, he sticks with S1-R Paton equipment.
Joining the record-breaking, history making Ballymoney rider in racing Paton’s are 2024 King of The Roads Champion Davey Todd, with notable category debutants, Milenco by Padgetts.
Stefano Bonetti, VAS Engine Racing team-mate Andrea Majola, another Italian ace Maurizio Bottalico (Team ILR/Frog Vehicle Developments).
Dominic Herbertson (Melbray Racing), Victor Lopez, Andy Hornby and Rob Hodson (SMT Racing).
Kawasaki’s relatively slimmed down class presence sees 10 competitors piloting ER6/Z650 steeds.
Twins race one runner-up in 2023, Michael Browne, is back to push for the top step of the podium, riding the same KMR Kawasaki, Richard Cooper took earlier this month, to Northwest 200 victory honours.
Further depth to the ‘Team Green’ challenge is provided by AJ Venter (TH Racing/Hywel Griffiths), Chris ‘Rabbit’ Moore, Stephen ‘Trevor’ Parsons (Cowton Racing).
Dafabet Racing’s Michael Evans, Marcus ‘Spartacus’ Simpson and Paul ‘Buzz Lightyear’ Cassidy.
Yamaha wise, there’s a group of certain famous, renowned faces aboard the marques NW200 winning R7 mount.
One of Yamaha’s best bets for success is via 21st century TT great, Peter Hickman.
Hickman racing again under the Swan Racing/PHR Performance banner, will be pending all factors slotting nicely together, a definite race winning contender.
Joining the outright lap record holder in being Yamaha powered are seven times TT victor, Michael Rutter (Bathams AJN Racing), focusing solely on Twins races.
Sam West, Shaun Anderson (Delmo Racing Team) and ones to watch, recent NW200 Twins front-runners, Adam McLean (Flitwick Motorcycles/SMV), Barry Furber (DC Motorcycles Newtown).
